New To Me 39-2

Just picked it off of layaway this morning. Think I did pretty well.

Original box:






It came with two mags and these Goodyear grips.



We all know how generous folks on this forum are but it us humbling to be reminded of it sometimes. Even in the midst of some serious health concern regarding his wife, a friend on this forum sent me this fine pair of original wood grips. I think it they have the desired effect:

As you can see, the decocker has quite a plum color to it. The slide has just a slight amount of plum.

I have not shot it yet, but plan to do so tomorrow.

Very nice, a great gun, withthe rubber or the original grips. I have em both ways and love the feel of the Pacs..

Box seems to be missing the proper label (Maybe on the unphotographed end, although small label is correct for later box) but mags seem to be the newer ones with the extra round. All in all, still a nice gun.

I pick up my second 39-2, supposed to be NIB, tomorrow. Can't wait.
