Default XS Big Dot vs Standard

Does anyone have any experience with the XS Standard front sight on a Gen 3? How does the sight picture work for you and compare/differ from the Big Dot?

TIA,
'heel

You dont pick it up as quick as the big dot but at longer distances like 25 yards+ the standard dot is more accurate

I don't have these sights on a 3rd Gen but I do have both the Standard Dot and the Big Dot on revolvers and I have the Big Dot on a Ruger LC9. I definitely prefer the Big Dot. It is quicker to find the sight and get it on target. I don't really find it more difficult to get a good sight picture for accuracy either. If you are going to shoot bulls eye you probably want different sights anyway. If these sights are for a defense weapon go with the Big Dot.

Either get the big dot's or go with another sight. Even XS states they only make standard dot's because you can't convince some people.

I like and use big dot's on self defense guns.
