Default Sw99 9mm

I just found a used sw99 at my LGS for 250 with 2 standard mags and 2 hi cap mags and it has an almost new set of night aights. So I jumped on it for that price I had shot one at a range a few years ago and loved it. My uncle used to carry one as his duty weapon. Is there anything I should know when I go to pick it up before shooting it?

I bought a SW99 in .40 abot this time last year, and I gotta tell ya the thing is OUTSTANDING! It was a police trade in and came with 3 12 round mags, and night sights. It's my only .40 and "tote around the yard" pistol ( well next to my 5946 that is).
Things to know: Clean it, shoot it, and get plenty of mags while you can! CDNN had SW99 mags not that long ago, so you might want too check.
If its half as good as my .40 version, you have got quite the pistol then! And check too see if the mag disconnect safety is still on board. Dale

Well I picked up the new gun yesterday and I am in love. All the ergo I loved from my sigma with a decocker and da/sa trigger pull. With that said it is the most accurate pistol I own. I had no problem keeping a 2in group at 15 yards which is tricky to do with my stoeger cougar 8040. Easy field stripping and this gun has a very low round count not a mark on it! I couldn't be happier!

I purchased a S&W99 in 9mm several years ago and have been impressed with it's relaibility and accuracy. I am particularly fond of it's trigger and unique ambidextrous mag release.
