Default Model 745

Ahem..just out of curiosity what would the value of a Model 745, unfired, two-tone gun? Came across one today. Any info on it?

Is it a target gun? It's single action auto with a trigger stop, but the slide has some play in it. Asking $800.

The closest thing I've seen to the action was a 356 TSW target I passed up 10 years ago.

edit: I just remembered that it had fixed Novac style black sights.

$800 is a little high, even if it had the original box and papers.
I paid $500 for a really nice one, not unfired and no box or papers.

It's suppose to be a target version of the 645 and it did shoot about 2 to 2.5" groups at 20 yards with old ball ammo.

If anything, it's pretty sharp looking with the two tone finish.

There has been a rise in the value of the 745's lately, due in large part to market availability. I used to see them sell regularly for $400-475, now it's more like $525-600. The IPSC model commands ever more. Now those are often priced in the $800 range.

It has the box and papers. Barrel hood looked unscratched.

Thanks for the info. I just got through an internet search and one link got me right back here from last month. I did a search from here first and came up with nothing.

I didn't notice any gold inlaid engraving for the commemorative model.
They go for a lot more from what I could gather.
