Found some 646/4506/4566 mags for sale.
Just ordered some mags for my 4566 from KYimports.com. They were used for $27 a piece, I ordered 4 and will report later on condition and performance when they arrive. Shipping was alittle high ($10) and I had to pay sales tax due to us both being in KY but still the cheapest I have found.

KY has been a GREAT source of used/trade in mags for many years.
Every transaction I ever had with them went smooth as can be.

Check out Buds gun shop. I walked in a and paid 14 dollars a piece for mine. They had a whole case full of them every time I went in since I bought my 4586 almost 1 1/2 years ago.

They arrived today, they look great, better shape than the one my 4566 came with. Little to no wear on the followers, good spring tension. Very happy with them so far, however due to lake season starting this weekend I dont know when I will be able to test them.

I would have posted pics of the 4 mags but I left them at work on my tool box. I was in a hurry to run by my Mom and Dad's. After 4 months of searching my Grandpa's place my Mom and Grandma finally found his 1903 Springfield (Remington) that he brought back from Germany in WW2. I got his 1913 Luger but could never find the 1903. I nearly cried when she told me the news that it had been found, I now have it here next to me. It still had the orignal cleaning kit/pull through still in the stock.

Looks like this source has dried up. Does anyone know of another source for these .45 magazines?

I found that site just by doing a yahoo or google search. I found this place but it doesn't look all that hi-tech of a website and they might be crooks but for under $20 for factory mags it might be worth a shot. SMITH & WESSON MAGS

I couldn't find any mags for the 456x on their website:
Smith & Wesson : KY Imports Inc, 502-244-4400
Do you have a link, or did you have to call them?

On the other link I posted, the place is out of stock. However, just checked with Midway and they have new factory mags for $30.56 on sale. Just dont buy any pro-mags and they are hit or miss with quality. I have 5 factory mags and 1 promag for range use.

Update to my orignal post. I see KY Imports has used factory 4506/4566/645 mags back instock (sadly only 5 instock) for the same price. As I mentioned shipping is still alittle high in my book. I also found a place called Smith & Wesson Gun Magazines & Clips | GunAccessories.com has used ones as well for 25 bucks . However I have never ordered from them before and their shipping was about the same. The ones I got from KY imports were great. I would order some but tonight I sent in a large order to Midway for other stuff before I looked for used mags.

I've been buying them lately off of Ebay. I've been averaging about $25 each including shipping.
