Finally my (almost) new 3914 arrived
Hi
Got my (almost) new 3914 today
My first pistol (back at 93) was 915. Later on had FN, Glock 19 and Sig P238.
After a lot of searching and thanks to the help and advises in the forum , I found the best EDC pistol (for me).
So thanks again for the help in choosing it, and here is my favorite son:

I see you got a 7round flush fit mag.as part of the deal. They are great.
Get some Hogue wood grips on that baby and a Sparks IWB holster and you will have the best of the best ccw set up. Looks and feel like a mini-39 or ASP.
It's been my favorite EDC combo since about 1990.

In fact it is a 9 round flush fit mag, originally 3906 mag.
The extra round cannot hurt... now I'm looking for some kind of "extended rubber grip"

Congratulations M1976!
I have your gun's cousin, a 4014. The are they best of the 3rd gen's in my opinions. I have stainless 3rd gens and Blackened ones, and I really lean to the black ones these days.
Here's something I posted on another lucky 3914 owners thread today, in case you are looking for a holster as fine as your new gun:

The price, and time it took, were both really surprising (in a good way!) for a fully custom holster. I've posted this before, but a friend of mine, that collects high end 1911's, and has several Sparks and Rosen holsters has switched to TT Gunleather and told me about it.
I highly recommend them.
The TT Gunleather holster is the one on the right with the black 4014. (The other one, with the 5906, is a Galco Cop Model OWB that I've had for some time)

They also have their Occidental Leather Stronghold series, which are made by a sister company to Tim's designs. These are usually in stock for immediate delivery. They show the 3913 and 3913TSW models in the drop-down window for ordering

Holsters
Thanks
I'm also considering "high noon holster":
"The Public Secret" - great holster
Public Secret w/clip
or "Mr. Softy" - great holster for great price.

I have three of the horsehide High noon holsters, one with the clip for my R-9 and the other two with straps for my 1911's. they are great holsters.
The 3914 looks very nice, I haven't seen one in person down here in southwest Florida, but sure would like to own one.
