Default 5904 Project

I've been tweaking one of my main carry guns and think I'm just about there.

It started out, obviously enough, as a stock 5904 that i obtained from a forum member, and added the CT Lasergrips right off, and shortly after that a bobbed hammer from a compact. Since it had regular Novak sights, I swapped on a slide from a 5906 with mid-life Trijicons.

I decided it was time to get Trijicons put on the original slide, and finally located a 469 one-sided safety.

I might put on a 469 slide stop at some point, but the Lasergrips make me wonder why I'm working to narrow the gun.

The finish is definitely not new, but this is a working gun that gets carried pretty much daily.

I gotta learn to take better pics.

Pretty slick. Hard to go wrong with a 5904, especially one that is set up just for you!

Pretty funny considering where mine came from. Now I'm not sure if I'd seen those pics before or thought this up on my own?
