Talking Finally found my 39-2

I have been looking for the perfect (to me) Model 39-2 for a couple of years. Always looking for the complete package, as minty as possible at a price I thought was fair. It took a while, mostly because I wasn't willing to pay big bucks for it. I Found this at the Tulsa show and it met all my criteria, including the price.

This is about as complete a set as I have found. The Box numbers to the gun and it appears to have all the proper papers and cleaning kit. It doesn't appear to have been fired much, if at all.

The gentleman I bought it from claimed not to have fired it in the 30 years he owned it. I don't plan on making that mistake, she will be heading to the range the first nice day of spring.

Very nice! I always thought the S&W #39 and a BHP fit my hand the best of any handguns.

Wow... a hearty congrats!!

Come on S&W, pull your heads out from where the sun doesn't shine or the clouds don't rain, and make us some pistols like THAT.

If you can do it for your "classic" line revolvers, you can do it for pistols too!

I'm jealous... That looks sweet. I was looking for the same awhile back and settled on a 99% nickel 39-2, but really wanted a blued one like that.

Very nice though... Congrats!
