I agree with you totally :-) I did manage to find some time today and stop at the range :-) and once again the E series was flawless.

i was looking at the Commander sized version of this the other day, very impressive looking. I had one of the original Scandium Commanders and it was great except for the annoying habit of throwing brass back in my face. I know it was fairly common then, presumably they have cured this issue?

I can not speak for the SC model , I can for for the full size 608482 , it is head and shoulders above my other 1911's as a factory stock gun .
