Picked up a 4513TSW
I picked up a 4513TSW last weekend at a gun show. I figured it would be a nice carry piece to compliment my S&W 645. I really like it. Very accurate, great size, and it looks like a pistol should, not all plastic looking. It was probably a LE trade in and needed a good cleaning. It is the later rail version. Came with 1 magazine and a Protec tactical light. I have ordered new springs (still waiting for some) and 3 extra magazines. I will probably carry Hornaday XTP 200gr +P in it (I use the 230gr version in the 645). I think I got a good deal. 419.00. I like that my 645 magazine and some of the holsters can be used with it. A great buy. Next thing on my list is a S&W 1006.

That is a pretty good price for a fine carry gun. My little brother put 10,000 rounds through his over its ten years before his department went to the M&P, never one failure. Mine came from his department, although it was on the shelf for 8 years. After the looks, size, and weight, I like that nice recoil with the double springs. Follow-up shots are quick.
At first it took several trips to the range before I got used to the DA first shot.

Here it is with it's big brother the 645 I've had since 1988. It does have a little holster wear at the end of the slide but really not too bad.

419 IS a VERY fine Price. Plus never fails to fire/eject and be on target is a plus rarely found in ANY product TODAY. Outside of 3rd Generation GUNS.
Of course we all have different opinions.

Yeah I'm a big fan of the 2nd and 3rd generation Autos. I am getting close to buying a 10mm. I just can't bring myself to like Glocks (which has the 20 and 29). They are fine weapons but the grip angle is wonky to me. So my choices are a used 1006, a Colt Delta Elite, or a EAA CZ clone. Guess which is my first choice. The 2nd and 3rd Generation Autos just look like the way gun is supposed to in my opinion. Plus as has been mentioned they are accurate, feed anything, and are reliable.

Nice find!
A 4513 or 4013 is definitely on my short list.

Good deal on a GREAT compact 45!
You don't often come across 4513TSW's for sale. Most everyone that has one, is keeping it. Enjoy yours! Regards 18DAI

Yeah, you got a pretty good deal. I have a 4013 my self. But its not the TSW model. Most 4013's you come across whether its a TSW or regular will have a little holster wear. 1: There a pretty Favorable gun to carry. 2: Most 4013's (Any model) Were a Police carry. They became pretty popular in the law enforcement world.
Enjoy it, there a nice one to have.

Great purchase. You won't regret this one. One of my favorite carry pistols. What a tack driver fro such a compact pistol..as good as most larger pistols.
