trigger job 915

Hello,

1. I posted previously for a 915 barrel job and can locate my post via my own statistics. However, searching for other 915 related posts, the search function comes up with no results. Anybody know how to find 915 related posts?

2. I am wondering if there is any information on doing a trigger job on a 915. Any leads here?

Thanks Jorge. I'm interested in doing my own work. My gun has to be way past warranty by now.

I've sent a couple of my used 3rd gen finds in for the PC action package (one of them a 915) and would totally recommend it. They do a lot for what they charge.

In this case you might wanna ask S&W directly or a gunsmith what they do...

I also contacted Magna-Port already for porting my 411.

One quick and easy way to reduce D/A pull is to install 17-18# hammer spring, I always replace the recoil spring at the same time with a stock weight spring. There is little that can be done with pre- & overtravel on the trigger on double action guns but they can be smoothed out somewhat. I wouldn't bother with the porting myself, I don't feel the results are worth the cost, and it usually hurts any sale or trade value.
