my new to me 41
was going to post pics and i dropped the dang camera! anyway can anyone give me a born on date sn 70XXX,i know its in the 60's just wanted to know if anybody could narrow it down better than the s&w catalog

Congratualtions you bought one of the sought after ones with the cocking indicator. What barrel length is it because I have a 1968 7 inch Model 41.

Art, that's a 7 3/8" barrel you have pictured. The 7" appeared about the time the cocking indicator disappeared.
