Default New M&P Shield , .40

Well, can't believe it. Stumbled on a M&P Shield .40 today at Academy Sports. Paid a fair price of 399.00 for it. Took it home and had to shoot it right away. It handled real nice for a smaller frame gun in .40 cal. Actually It handled very well. Glad I picked up the 40. The pic is of the very first six rounds out of the box. I was at the 7 yard line. The second pic is with gold dot ammo at a faster rate of fire the same distance. The trigger pull is the best I have felt in any smaller frame weapon. S&W hits a home run !!!

Thanks for the video info bob. Good job. Shot mine today to qualify. Everything went great. Best trigger i have seen so far on a smaller frame gun.

Thanks for the report. Mine gets here next week. Also in 40. Can't wait to try it out. I think you may be right about them hitting a homerun. I love the feel of the gun. Hope mine shoots as well as yours.

I have two, both in 9mm. I was concerned about the recoil of the .40, but after reading all the positive comments, I'm looking for a .40 now. I do love my 9's, though :-)
