Default Optic for a M41?

Should be getting the M41 by next week, so what kind of optic do you recommend for 50yd silhouette shooting (besides a red dot)?

My eyesight is such that I'm looking into a magnified optic of some kind.

thanks

It's not magnified, but I used an Ultradot Match Dot on one of mine. I like it.

I have a M41 topped with a Trijicon RMR:

But again, no magnification, so it doesn't fit your criteria.

If you require magnification then one of the long eye relief scopes such as the Leupold 2X works. I tried using the 2X scope but found that it provided increased perception of wobble and did not improve my ability to hit the target.
I have used a Docter reflex dot sight as well as both the Leupold-Gilmore and old Tasco ProPoint2 which are tube type red dot sights.

Thanks for the alert about perception of wobble.

I wear prescription glasses, and assumed a magnified optic would be superior to my micro red dot.

Found a used Leupold 2X for $115, so I might try it for that kind of money.

You require the Leupold2X with the long eye relief.
