Default S&W 41

I have a couple questions on model 41 22 lr.
1. are all 5 1/2" models heavy barrel
2. how can you tell heavy barrel from std. what do you look for.
3.does 41 shoot better than browning medalist.

1. Factory 5.5" bbls all heavy "bull" bbls
2. The 7 3/8", 7", and 5" bbls are appx 11/16" wide and the 5.5" is just under7/8" (slide appx 13/16")
3. Accuracy about equal - shooter preference - in same class as Hamden Victor.
