Beautiful gun.
I just picked up a dust cover for my 39-2. I guess S&W made them to try to get military contracts.

I never get sick of seeing those... I'd have 100 if I could.. But 2 for now is okay.

Very nice! What could I expect to pay for a mint 39-2 like that?

This particular one cost me five bills, which I gladly paid with three mags and a dust cover, and it's easily 95%+......with the original box and paperwork, also it is a transitional -2, which I have been looking for a nice example for quite some time now......and it appears to have never been fired, only handled.....I think I will fire it though, that's the best part of owning them.....I have others I have paid from $275 to over six fifty for a pristine LNIB example, it all depends what YOU want to spend.....

Just to put it in perspective, I would not hesitate to buy a dust cover alone for two hundred, they are extremely hard to come by, and I have only seen one other in person, and have never seen one for sale......and three mint magazines sell for a hundred easily, and that's a bargain....
