TSW Accessory Rail...Got One?
Anybody have a take-off TSW accessory rail they despise (or not) that they would be willing to part with? (I know this might belong on a different section of this forum, but I think there are a lot more TSW people here.)

John, If you can help me talk BMCM into removing the rail from one of my TSW's and filling in the holes like he did on that 4566TSW, I've got one you can have!

Thanks, Tim!
I don't know just what those persuasive words might be other than $$$$$$$ (and deservedly so).
Unfortunately, I can barely speak that language myself.
Besides, if I understand the law correctly, even if he wanted to, he would first need to get his FFL (not to mention various and sundry local business and tax permits, insurance, etc.). Lacking that, he could only work on guns hand carried to him and not left overnight.

Yeah not quite legal for you to send a frame to me. Once I get all my legal stuff in order I'd be happy to fill those holes for ya.
Anyway It's not a big deal by any means to knock that rail off of there. Just carefully drill out the rivets and it'll just about fall off
BTW John, I got a stainless Novak rail I was messing with some time back you can have if interested. I was filing if to blend into the trigger guard on a 4566 but quit when I decided I didn't want any rail on there after all, so It's not quite done. Let me know.
Cheers
Bill

That's a very generous offer, Bill but you better save that rail for a more deserving project.
I have a LE trade-in 4043TSW that I converted to TDA but when I got it, it did not have a rail. The holes seem to be filled with the OEM rivets and there is no tell-tale sign of any rail ever having been mounted, so possibly agency ordered without.
I'm unconvinced of the utility of the rail, but I would like to find a S&W rail in case I change my mind.
Thanks again!
