Talking Took the 5906 for a spin

I shoot 1-2X a week. I rotate a lot of my guns in and out. Tonight I reached for my 5906 that I hadn't had to the range in at least a month. There was a big grin on my face when I finished emptying the 1st of the 3 mags I had loaded. It grouped at 2" at 25' Smith & Wesson really made a great pistol when they upgraded to the 3rd gen 5906. It's just a great working man's pistol.

I have a couple of 5906s, one with round trigger guard and no sight protector, and one with the recurved trigger guard. Have not shot either of them yet. No excuse, just too darn busy with work, family and ???

Palmeto Sharpshooter: Ok I need some clarification..
I see a traget model on top, and a 2 tone bottom right and a long slide middle right... what do you have there ...exactly? Those are some very interesting 5906 variants.

The top one is a PPC9 (5906). The "long slide" is a DPA5906 (maybe 10 made). The two-tone is listed as a PC9 5906 but is really a 6904.
