S&W 52-2 Maintenance/Inst. Brochure
I recently acquired an absolutely beautiful 52-2 and it appears to be one of the last ones to be manufactured judgeing by the s/n. Before I post a want ad I need to know something about the instruction/maintenance sheets. I would like to obtain one dated between 1971 and 1993, preferably one closest to 1993 as possible if there is one dated that late. If you know the date of the last ones printed, please advise and thanks for your knowledge in advance.

I have never seen any 52 literature marked with any dash models or printing date other than date under the schematic picture. I have one set with 1974 marked there. Since the extractor is the only difference on a 52-2, and they sold few guns as compared to other models, I would see no reason to revamp the instructions. Inquire PM as I may sell my literature.

I have two older versions of the Model 52 Instruction Sheet; one with a parts list dated 1962 and the other dated 1973. As you would expect the older one shows the longer extractor and the later one shows the smaller extractor.
There are other newer versions. Here's one that covered several models including the 52.

Since your gun is towards the end of production in 1993, it may have had an even newer version of the manual. I'd suggest you check online auctions for 52-2 and see if you can find a picture of a late production one with the manual shown.

Page 4 of that pdf is corrupted or damaged. Is there a better file out there?
Thanks,

Thanks to all who have chimed in. I made a trade with ken158 for a brochure dated 1974. If anyone know of or has one dated later than that, let me know either by post or PM. Again, thanks to all, Happy New Year and be safe.
