4583TSW: To Buy or NOT
Online dealer has 4 LEO turn in 4583TSW with fixed sights listed in 'great condition" for $429 Shipped. Sold with two 8 round mags, Safariland holster and dual mag pouch. Pistol has no engravings.
Is this a fair deal? Seems prices for 3rd Gen 45s are much higher but then those maybe in better condition. BUT, these were manufactured for just 2-3 years I think.
Thinking about contacting the dealer for photos of a specific pistol to make a more informed decision. The ad does not allow for bids just Buy Now.
Thanks.

Seems like a good deal but I like DAOs.
If you do decide to buy and the holster is a black basketweave 6280
with light provision or not, I might be interested in helping you part
with it.

I paid $475 for a 4566 tsw a few weeks ago, dealer is a friend and had it listed for $559 with the 8 mags, I would gladly trade less mags for better condition, I say do it, then send me the link after you buy yours

I don't see a lot not to like. Full size .45 with allow frame in DAO. I'd say it's a fair price as it includes shipping.

I'd love to have one. 3rd gen .45 DAO with alloy frame. Great carry piece. What's not to like?

The price is good, pretty much in line with many of the 4566TSW's I've seen for sale recently. I vote for you buying one ASAP.

I would. The DAO takes getting used to, but that's why I bought my 4586, Another trigger type to master. A lcouple of lighter springs really help with the TSW DAO's. Just don't go too light and sacrifice ignition reliability.

Thanks for the feedback. The DAO does not bother me too much.
