Default Trigger job on 439

The single action pull on my 439 is significantly heavier than my 39-2 or 3906. I'm having a heck of a time shooting decent groups with it at the range. How easy is it for a pistol smith to reduce the trigger pull a bit?

Just noticed the Wolf hammer spring kits. Does anyone have experience with these?

UpNorth- Having the same problem with my "new to me" 6906. I asked the same question in the Gunsmith section of this forum. I decided to get some reduced power hammer and trigger return springs to see if that reduces trigger pull without affecting reliability. FYI- I took my 6906 completely apart to make sure I could replace the springs before ordering. Good instructions available on YouTube. A good cleaning and light lubrication didn't reduce trigger pull, but made is much smoother in both DA and SA.

I have had great success with the 2.5 competition trigger plunger springs as well as the reduced power 16lb main spring. Both are available at wolf springs. Be sure to grease the sear "hooks" too.
