A lot of CZs are copies? That could be but none come to mind. Even in their plastic framed pistols CZ has stuck with rotating hammers and take down by removing the slide stop 1911 style. Incidentally I like my CZ 75 & 85. For those of us that ignore plastic pistols some CZ 75 variations are the best value 9 mms.

Long before the M&P came around Glock successfully sued S&W for patent infringement after S&W copied Glock features in the Sigma line.

Arik,

My apologies. I interpreted your post to mean that a lot of CZ’s products are copies of other companies’ guns.

I don't tilti at windmills, so as much as I'd like to see the 3rd gens back in production - especially the single stack nines - I don't see it happening for all the reasons stated already. It's my misfortune, I guess, that a striker fired plastic pistol has no appeal to me. Especially if it has a dingus trigger. I'll never be in the market for another Glock or an M&P. I doubt of the companies will go broke for my lack of business.
It's a bit puzzling to me, though, when someone says that new third generation pistols would be a niche item. So? Except for the J-frames, I'd say that's true of all the S&W wheelguns. They produce and sell those with few qualms.
