Grip Screw Thread Pitch for 645/745??

A couple of the stock screwdriver grip screws on my 745 are buggered up and I'm thinking about replacing them. I can get them from Numrich, but was thinking about swapping them out for Allen or torx style screw, similar to 1911. Will 1911 screws work? Anyone done this? Or does anyone know the thread pitch of the stock grip screw?

Any input is appreciated?? I thought I'd start here but maybe this should be in the gunsmithing section.
