SCORE !!!!!
After a distracting excursion of considering a "pocket-sized" 9mm pistol, I came to my senses and realized that what I really wanted was another 6904....or a 6906. This would give me the redundancy I want (a back up pistol as close in design and operation to my EDC - the 6904).
Long story short.....I happened into a 6906....at a good price ($299). The only problem - it did not come with any magazines. Not a real big deal, as I have plenty of them (for my 6904). As well, it was listed on an auction site. I called and made a deal that, if I showed up with cash in hand and no one else bid on it by the time I got there, it would be mine. Yippeee !!!
It is in BETTER condition than my 6904 - a lot better. Very clean, only a few small holster marks.....and the interior looks terrific. It functions and feels almost like a new gun - I'd be surprised if this 6906 has had many rounds through it. My 6904, though it functions well, feels much more worn, in comparison (as well as looking a bit ratty on the outside). It is a CAI re-import, just like my 6904....but I don't care. I wanted it to shoot and carry, not as a collector piece.
A pic below...... I am a happy man today !!!

I'd like to shoot and carry that, too. I don't want my guns sitting around to be looked at.

Any day you can get a 3rd Gen at a great price is a good day! And a 6906...one of my favorites. Have a good time at the range!

99% of the time, if I'm carrying it's my 6906. Been that way since 1994. Joe

Great deal. It has an importers stamp on it. I wonder where it was originally?
