Probably all the 39/439/3906 slides are the same thickness, but let's go for the 439. Just the slide, don't count the decocker or other appendages.

I love my Glock 19, but even with a thin holster it still gets awfully thick for comfortable IWB carry. Especially since my "W" keeps getting thicker.

I'm looking for a thin/light full size 9mm, DA/SA trigger. The 439 with the rounded trigger guard and fixed sights might fill that bill. A 6906 might work also, the thicker grip isn't a problem, but the shorter slide might be harder to keep from doing a "summersalt" out of my pants.

All S&W 9mm pistols in the 39, 59, and 69 series have the same slide width, not counting the safety/decocker....

My 6906 and 5906 both measure .925......+/- .002

My nickeled 439 measures 0.927" at the slide stop notch. My nickeled 539 measures 0.925". I imagine a blued 439 would be a few thousandths narrower, since it is minus the nickle coating.
