Found this one at my local store for $300. Sound right given condition? Comes with box & 4 mags.

4046 was my departments first semi auto. Wasnt a bad gun at all, a little heavy but not bad. No one complained about the 40 s&w “kicking like a mule” in a steel frame gun lol

The 4046 was my first large bore auto. I paid too much for it and did not like the DAO. I traded it for a 40 cal Browning Hi Power and never looked back. That is a very good price if you like it.

Wow. That thing looks to be in pretty good condition.
I think you did well for yourself if you gave $300 and got 4 mags with it.

I'd buy it....
I got a similar LEO gun a couple years ago. A Ruger P94DAO in 40 cal.
I paid $295 with 2 mags. The Smith's are worth a lot more. You got a great deal!

Even down in southeastern Louisiana where 3rd Gen prices tend to be much lower than other parts of the country, $300 for this in what looks to be excellent condition with the box and 4 magazines is a great price. I would have snatched it up in a second! You did good, Sir. Enjoy!
