Magnum Force (the scene where the people at the swimming pool were bombed/shot): S&W 76
Breaking Bad (near the end of the series, where he was "set up" out in the desert, and his brother in law DEA agent was onto him): blued S&W 442

The Perry Mason episode last night featured a S&W Model 39 as the "murder weapon." It was shown full frame for a few seconds as the detective on the witness stand had to show how the finger prints were put on the slide by someone grabbing the gun. He said finger prints couldn't be lifted from the serrated wooden grips. The gun looked brand new. (Probably was!)

Andrea in The Walking Dead used a 3913 LS for several seasons. The M&P, 5904, 5906, and 6904 also get the nod on several occasions. Plus the usual gamut of model 10, 686, 66 etc revolvers.

Miami Vice (TV): Crockett's 645/4506 and 6906
Training Day: Double 4506s
2 Guns: 4506
The Shield: Mackey's 4506 and .38 spl back-up
Diry Harry: 629 .44 Magnum
Hawaii 5 O (New TV Series): Chin Ho Kelly 5906 (1st season)
Southland: Cooper's 5906
Bad Boys: Martin Lawrence's 4506 and 6906

That is off the top of my head. Your turn. Roll that beautiful bean footage...............
Dirty Harry had a 29, not a 629.

On the original Hawaii 5-0, didn't McGarrett use a Model 36? Also, remember the scenes in the opening title with the famous song, where the revolver cylinder was spun a couple of times - I thought that was a 5-shot cylinder. I could be wrong. Memory fades after all these years.

Walthers (when they were in "strategic partnership" with S&W) and S&W autos were used in Walker, Texas Ranger. The star used a 629 in the early seasons, and it was replaced with a Beretta Inox 9mm in later seasons.

Adam-12 had Reed, Malloy, and the other LAPD officers using 6 inch K-38s and then 4 inch Combat Masterpiece revolvers when LAPD changed over to 4-inch guns. Reed and Malloy also used M36s for off-duty.

Dragnet had Gannon using a 4 inch CM, while Friday had a 2 inch Model 10.

Remember the show Third Watch? The seasoned cop, played by Skipp Sudduth, used an S&W revolver, which he reloaded with NYPD speed loaders (HKS) during at least one gunfight.

Blue Bloods - Danny Reagan used a 5946NY in the first season, but changed to the Kahr when they were approved. He still uses it, even though I understood it is no longer on the approved list.

That's all for now.

I know there's a database that has cataloged which firearms were used in movies and tv. My favorite is the 4506-1 Michael Chiklis used I. The Shield

Fred Astaire used a 5” nickel Heavy Duty, playing a detective in the movie “Band Wagon”...

What, don’t tell me no one remembers that one?
