Default Shield Recall

I read today there is a recall on the Shield. I was in a hurry and just scanned the article, then had to shut down the Laptop for a meeting. If you have one you might want to do a web search. I'll try to post a link later.

I believe it had to do with the trigger safety and the possibility that the gun might fire if dropped.

If you look in the M&P section you'll see that this has all been posted three or four times.

It's a safety alert, not a recall. Major difference.

Agreed. But a lot of the members that are 3rd gen lovers may have one or two plastic Smith's, but don't look in the M&P section that often. (Like me!)

One is a gun you love and collect and shoot often, the other is a tool you use when you need a good gun for the boat or truck you don't mind losing in the bottom of a river as much as a 3rd gen! At least that's the way I look at it.
