Default 1026 Value

My buddy has a LNIB 1026 he's wanting to sell. Has one tiny nick in the right grip panel. Looks used VERY little.
Has the box and papers.

What's the going rate for one of these?

I am not sure of value, but I believe them to be pretty rare. Best do some research before you sell. I have seen, on this forum I am reasonably sure, pictures of a factory letter than gave some production numbers on the rare third generation pistols, and some of those guns are exceedingly rare.

Great piece. With box and papers you're looking at $1,500+ to the right buyer. The only model with lower production run numbers is the DAO 1046.

I'd pay $1,000 without blinking.

I have three of this model. Two will fire with the magazine removed. They were made for the Virginia State Police. The balance of the guns were the standard model (civilian). I would agree that 1000.00 would be a fair price. Looks like 3135 1026's were produced between 1990-1991.
