I know that all the purists believe that 1911's should be 45's, but I can tell you with no doubt that the Pro Series 1911 9mm is an exceptional weapon. I am far from being anywhere near a "great" shot with a handgun, but this gun makes me look good. It feels good (a little heavy) fits my hand well and hits exactly where you point it. Great gun! Ok, I'm off the soap box.

I love mine as well. Screams quality, accurate....9mm is a wonderful load for the platform. Only 'issue' is my eyes and focusing on the iron sights (getting old). I have the adjustable sight, and the notch is a bit narrow. However I discovered a solution....cheap drugstore reading glasses. 2X. That along with my Merit adjustable iris has the 10 ring running for cover. Now that Crimson Trace has come out w/ the 1911 green rail laser...may pick one on those up down the road. Enjoy
