Default Model 622 problems

Hello to all, First of all thank you all for reading. I am new to this forum.

I have a S&W 622
I have had this pistol completely apart and re assembled manyany times before for cleaning...However this time after it has been all put back together, Something is not right and I'm kinda scared to try shooting it.
When I put the magazine in , the slide is a lot harder to pull back now and when I look into the "right" side of it and watch it grab a round from the magazine , it acts as if its not aligned right or something. The slide will not fully close because the round is not slipping properly into the chamber of the barrel ... Its frustrating I have taken it apart again and back together again and I cannot figure it out and its probably something silly that I am just not used too. I do not have a manual and I have been to smith and Wesson site to try and acquire one but all they have are magazines , there is not even pictures of my model 622 ..

Again, the bullet from the start comes out of the magazine and gets stuck and does not go straight into the barrel like its supposed to.

Any suggestions? I'm trying to figure out how to upload pics

Default No expert here but.........a suggestion.

First remove the Magazine, unload the chamber if you were able to get one to go in all the way and completely disassemble the pistol again. ( You will not need to remove the screws holding the side plate or the side plate) I'm not sure how or if its possible but it sounds as though the slide may not be lining up properly. Take it down and reassemble it once more. I just had my 2206 apart for cleaning and luckily its back together and working fine. Surely someone with the expertise to offer helpful & technical advice will be along soon. Good Luck!
