for CS 40, custom grip maker ?
Hiya !
Guess Im too late for Big Dog custom work.
I Googled for days, can't find custom grips for CS 40 semi-auto.
Any other custom woodworkers you have heard of?
Thanks for your time★

On the upside, you can remove your grips & take them to a local woodworker...
or DIY

mkigrips.com, does different grips. no CNC MACHINE, i'm waiting on my first two sets, after these i have 4 more sets he will be doing for me, on my last 4 sets i will be sending him my orisinal grips, all 6 sets are being done in Gabon ebony, if it weren't for my S&W 1911 already having African black wood i'd done that one as well, i;ve been told African blackwood anf african ebony are the same, they are not of the black wood and ebony's they cover many species , my all ready weapons that already custom grips 1 is african black wood the other African/gabon ebony have greatly density differences, my black wood is on the endangered list now, takes 80 to 90 years for a small tree, although the Ebony's which are akin to rosewoods and now are becoming up on the endangered lists very soon i hear, not sure just a rumor i heard, i do know the black Ebonys are some very expensive woods, all true ebonys when dropped into water sink like rocks, some of my front heave weapons i am hoping to improve there balance, i used lighter blackwood on my S&W 1911, which already had good balance that is why it got lighter weight African Blackwood' once done i could of bought a couple good hand guns for what i'm spending on grips, but i'm getting older you cant take it with you, so i am gifting myself, all but my mki's are stainless,,

I had TercGen, a forum member, make a Delrin custom grip for my CS40. An excellent job and a great fit!

I have a set from : ksdgripsusa.com
on my CS45 . If I remember right , The CS40 and Cs45 grips are the same . The workmanship is first rate , and they look like they belong .

Plus 1 for TercGen. He did my CS9 and it’s outstanding.

I would definitely go with TercGen grips if I were you. I haven’t gone that route yet and with my luck it’ll be too late when I get off my butt.
I have KSD grips on my CS9 and CS45, (yep same as the 40,) and they do look and feel very nice. The problem is that they are just about the same dimensions as the factory CS grips are and I would like them a bit thinner. Just me maybe.
