Default 2nd/3rd Gen Compensator

Has anyone seen this style of compensator before? Is this a performance center add on, or some 3rd party hack job?

I wouldn't call it a hack job, they both appear to be well made. The top one does look like the Briley comp used on several PC guns without side vents. The bottom looks totally custom with the front sight mounted on it.

They do look well made, I was thinking about putting a bid in on ebay for them, but I'm a little skittish when it comes to someone else's custom work. If I could 100% confirm they were mfg by the S&W Performance Center, I would be all over them, but I'll have to pass. Maybe another member will snatch them up.

Back in the '90s, Tapco had a barrel bushing comp for the 439/459 second gen pistols in their cataog.

They are sold. The auction had one bidder.

You can search the completed listings for "S&W 645 slide" and it should come up, the pair went for $350.

The fellow got a good deal the bottom slide looks to have a Bo-Mar or Wichita milled in rear sight, they may both be a longer barrel with threads to mount the comps. Jeff
