Default 6946 Recoil Spring

Got my new Wolff standard recoil spring today. Supposed to be 15 lb factory spring but wow is it stiff compared to the spring that is in the gun! Is this to be expected? Any idea where I can get a factory recoil spring for a 6906/6946?

Numrich has several listed, but I believe that their SKU: 326340 is the factory original while the other ones are aftermarket extra power springs.

Depending on how much your gun has been fired, it's not too surprising that the new spring is stiffer than the one you replaced.

Had a chance to try out the new Wolff recoil spring in the 6946. Works perfect.

Gun shoots great! That's a 2" dot at 7 yards with 115 gr Speer Gold Dots. Does shoot a little low and left between seven and 25 yards.

Two inch dot at 25 yards with 115 gr Speer Gold Dots.
