Default Model 52 loads

Hey all,
I am wondering about loads for my model 52-2. It is a really new gun. I have tried 2.8 and 2.7 grains of bullseye with a HBWC. What is the recommended upper limit? I was going to try some 3 grains of bullseye but wanted to check first.

I am using a 10 pound recoil spring and have a barrel weight.

Thanks

Royce

I just checked Wolff Springs and the 10# is the upper end of what they offer.
The 8# is factory standard per Wolff.
FWIW.
The loads you started with should be fine with the standard spring.

I wasn't sure if the hotter load was safe with the gun. I have heard of folks going as high as 3.2 grains of bullseye.

I have found that the heavier load gives me a tighter group. So 3 grains should be fine than?

I tried the 10 lb spring to soften the recoil slam a bit. And it works very well.
