Default SW40VE frame same as SD40VE?
Been thinking about getting a SD40.
I have a Crimson Trace LG-406 laser on my SW40VE and am wondering if the laser will also fit the SD frame.

They have a different shape to the trigger guard and the SD has a different rail. I have not tried it, but it seems unlikely that it will work.

Thanks for the reply.
After reading your reply I went back and looked at the pics of the two again and now I can see a slight difference in the trigger guards.
