Default CS45

Finally got to give this pistol a little exercise yesterday.
Picked it up this Spring then came down w/some issues around Carpal Tunnel and my Ulnar (funny bone) Nerve where I lost both strength and dexterity in my left (strong) hand along w/experiencing considerable discomfort. Surgeries followed, now dealing w/physical/occupational therapy but am on the mend.
Serious shooting had been impacted. Both double action and heavier caliber shooting were not options, so this CS45 was out of the question.
Had been shooting some lighter .38 and 9mm loads along w/.22's for quite a while. Last week tried a few rounds thru a big full sized .45, an 845, assuming the gun's weight would soak up some recoil. Doc told me I'm to the point where pushing the edge will not cause damage, will experience discomfort though.
So yesterday decided to give this one a test run w/about 50rds, it was FUN!! My nephew was along, my accuracy is off, so watching his results was really a better indication of the gun's accuracy. I was pleased w/his and actually found my results to be encouraging.
Today I do know I was pushing things, but it's a good kind of discomfort.
I did find my situation to be an opportunity to do some weak hand practice.
Nice to be on the down side of all this.

Well, it's good to hear you are on the mend and able to get out and shoot a .45. Ever since I held a CS45 in a pawn shop I have wondered how they would shoot.

Excellent! Glad you're doing well.

I used my CS-45 on my second CHL test and scored 248 out of 250. I love that pistol!!!!

Anyone wants to know how they shoot can ask me anytime. They're wonderful. I had a 457 that didn't shoot as well; it wasn't bad but I couldn't do with it the things I could do with the CS-45. I'd like to have that 457 back but I gave it to a needy friend so it's all good.

3rd Gen S&Ws are wonderful!

Love the 3rd Gen S&W's! Wish they'd start production again on a few models.
