39-2 that I almost overlooked
I walked through the gun show last weekend and was heading back to a table to try and make a deal on a K.22 masterpiece and while waiting to get by a young couple in the aisle I looked down at the table next to me and there was this 39-2 that I overlooked the first time by. I failed on my try at the .22 so I came back to the 39-2. I'm very happy that the guy with the .22 was as hard headed as me.

Awesome. I still think that's the prettiest auto Smith has made. I suspect you'll be happy with how it shoots, too.

Congratulations! You're gonna love shooting your 39-2. They are accurate and they are the most ergonomic semi auto I've ever had. And to chime in with Petepeterson and Fat Tom, they are just plain gorgeous!

Congrats!
I have yet to shoot one, but they are one of if not the best feeling pistol I've held.

You did good. But beware....soon that little itch will be come a raging infection: there's 439 and 539, and 639's; and 3904's and 3906's and 3913's and when funds get low, 908's. In the terminal stage you'll be scouring gunshow tables looking for a 39 no dash. Just start saving, once infected, there's no cure.
congrats.

That's very nice. A 39 and a 639 are on my bucket list.
