5906tsw price/value opinion.....
I saw a very nice 5906tsw at the LGS, it has no box and only one mag. Price is $550.00 plus tax with no wiggle room. I think it's sort of high as does he but it's consignment. For some reason I want it even though I have the standard 5906 already Opinions on its worth....

$550 is a bit high for no box and one mag, but then again, you don't normally see many 5906TSW's pop up for sale. A nice specimen sold on Gunbroker for $500+s/h last month, but I believe it had the box and more mags.
I would highly recommend checking Gunbroker for 5906TSW's before committing to the local purchase. If you don't use Gunbroker, then you'll have to decide if it's worth it to you or not. Personally, even if I had a 5906, I would buy the TSW version and sell the old one. TSW = better, in my book.

A local forum I watch had one this morning for $450. Rail had been removed. No idea on mags or box. He never responded to my inquiry and ad is gone.

Like the recent Israeli Police High Powers that Aim Surplus had - if you don't jump on them as soon as you get the e-mail, they're gone.
I ordered 5906TSW and two spare magazines within 10 minutes of receiving the e-mail; 20 minutes later they were sold out! That tells me a lot of people respond to the e-mail as fast as I do!

What is better about the TSW model?
I put a TSW in my AIM cart but when I hit order they were sold out. So I ordered standard 5906 and they sold out about 2 hours after I placed order.

For $379.80 shipped for a gun with 3x15 round magazines we're getting a good gun!
In my experience with Aim Surplus I've gotten good examples of what they've sold. I bought a "new" VZ-58 and more recently an FN High Power Israeli Police Trade-in; a MKIII gun from the 1990s; externally it looks like its been used hard and put away wet; but underneath that rough exterior lies a true workhorse FN that still puts rounds on target. Mine High Power came with a very rudimentary IFF System; yellow retroreflective tape on both sides of the muzzle; sort of "Officers, the color of the day is yellow. Don't shoot the plainclothes officers with yellow tape on their guns!"

Hey Chief
You leaving the reflective tape on your Hi Power? I sure would.
Gives it that "salty yea I saw action" swagger.
I've bought a Mosin from Aim and hoping the 5906TSW is even nicer. Would be cool if it has PD markings.

And by the way, I got mine for $364.85. I think AIM's don't like squids. LOL
