Default Slide Lock failure

Have had this for a little while but have been unable to fully enjoy it yet.
Had some hand/elbow issues and surgery a while back, when recovery allowed took this out and had FTE problems. Spent the last month down at Springfield, came back the other day w/polished chamber.
Took it out the other morning and put nearly 100rds thru it at a falling plate shoot. Experienced about 40% slide lock failure w/ all 4 Wilson Combat mags.
I'm thinking the lightly loaded ammo I have for my 952 that I used may be the problem w/the lock back issue. Haven't had a chance to load something a bit stronger to test my theory. Another consideration is my hand is still weak but I didn't get any FTE's or Stovepipes which I connect w/weak wristing.
I welcome other's thoughts.
Tks, Kevin

I run a 15# spring in my Series 70 GM and it will often fail to lock back using light 9MM reloads (115 @ 1050). It seems to happen most often with the Wilson magazines. Going up a little in power solves the problem. The Wilson mags are excellent and I consider this a minor problem.

Put a 12 1/2# ISMI recoil spring in it and your problems will disappear with your loads. Been there, done that.
