My three digit 45s
Here are my three digit 45s. Can't really call them second generation because two of them are not second generation.
645 Fixed sight TAN68XX August 1986
645 Adjustable sight TBF00XX October 1987
745 Fixed sight TBJ17XX December 1987
845 Adjustable sight MPC01XX May 1995
945-1 Adjustable sight RSA30XX July 2007
I shoot all of them but find myself shooting the 945 the most.
945 & target shot @ 10 yards one handed 10 shots.
Target 99/7X

I have not seen a PC 945. No wonder it is your favorite!

Great .45s! The only one that is clearly 3rd gen is the 845. I'm not sure how the 945 is classified. Generation 3 1/2? Does the 945 have any advantage over the 845 as a bullseye pistol?
Any chance you could sneak in a pic of your Springfield Armory Commemorative? I'll take ding if it's reported in the wrong forum.

The only slight advantage of the 945 is if you are accustom to the 1911 type trigger. The 845 trigger pivots like the model 52. Ok here's the 625 SAC

Forty Fives
Nice bunch of FORTY-FIVES there!
Of course I'm partial to 845s but that 945's real tempting too. What year is it? Maybe one day I'll happen across one.
I bet you didn't know that if you take all five of those model numbers & add them together, then divide by 5, then take the square root of that quotient, then multiple by 2, and lastly, subtract 10 & round off, what you get?
Answer: FORTY-FIVE !!

Either 1. 6 to 12 weeks on the critical care unit of a Level 1 Trauma Center or 2. an expense paid trip the the autopsy table at the medical examiners office. My money is on #2.

Thanks for the picture of your 625. I put it up as my desktop. There is a black & white picture of a SAC in the 2nd ed. of the SCSW but the authors moved on to other guns in the 3rd ed.
Now back to automatics.

The one on the top left is the best one there, but I'm biased.

That's just an incredible collection there! Ever since getting my 4506, I long for an 845.
