Thats a real beauty. I'm still kicking myself in the you know what for selling one I bought new.....
The Standard Catalog indicates approx 5000 total production including both roll stamped IPSC slides and without. A very nice pistol. If you can, could you post the numbers under the SPC. ORD. code on the box end label?

It is commonly said that 5000 were made. Maybe that's the case but I had an IPSC version with the gold filled engraving and the serial number was DVC5092. This leads me to believe they made at least 5092 of them!

The SPC.ORD. code on the end label typically (not always) reflects the date the pistol was completed, boxed and ready to be shipped. The date is in a Julian date format. Your code of 7202 reflects 1987(7), July 21st (202nd day of the year). There are times when the code numbers don't make any sense but on your's it seems to fit.

Since nobody answered the original question, I will. $750 bucks. Did you already buy this one?

There were 2 major variations of the 745.
The production run of 5000 refers to the IPSC version, DVC# only. There was also a run made no IPSC stamping and not serial numbered in the IPSC version DVC prefix.

I have two outside of the DVC series. One TBW**** the other TBY****. Both have adjustable sights and are tack drivers. Would I sell them? No way. I would like an 845 to go with these and an early 645 TAT****, but those are few and far between. Dave_n

Sounds like a great price to me.
Although in Australia I paid $600 for my first one NIB 15 years ago. The next one 2 years ago was a little cheaper in a lot from an estate.

Since it's been almost nine months I thought I kick this back up as I too am looking at one of these, NIB and was wondering what the going rate might be, all things considered?

I've got a 645 which I really enjoy and this 745 IPSC just seemed like a natural addition to keep it company. TIA
