Default Does a nickel Model 61 have a nickel cocking indicator?

The title says it all. Does a factory nickel Model 61 have a nickel cocking indicator, or a blue one? Thank you for answering this question for a Colt guy.

After two days with 95 views, but no replies, does that mean that no one knows whether a nickel Model 61 has a nickel or blue cocking indicator, or does that mean the Model 61 is so little respected that no one cares?

Someone, please?

I have a blue 61-3 and a nickel 61-2. They are not NIB. Both look the same to me. Plain unfinished pin.
Just removed the grips and it looks to me they match the finish of the gun.

I don't know , but I did have a nickel 61 many years ago, and I don't remember the cocking indicator at all. To me, that means it was probably nickel. Maybe search the net, especially this site, for a photo. Or see if you can find both parts diagrams, if there are two, and see whether there are two part numbers.

The one I looked at was nickel (or chrome) to match the gun.

I am confused. Both of what look the same, the cocking indicator pins? If the two pins look the same, how can each match its respective gun finish when the gun finishes are different?

Or do you mean that the pins "look the same" as the finish of their respective guns, thus the blue gun has a blue pin to "look the same" as the blue gun, and the nickel gun has a nickel pin to "look the same" as the nickel gun?

What does "Plain unfinished pin" mean? Since you use the singular "pin," which pin is "plain unfinished?" Does "Plain unfinished pin" modify "Both look the same to me?" If a pin is "plain unfinished," how can a pin be blue or nickel, which are both "finishes?"

Thank you for trying to help, but please clarify for my simple mind.
