Default 1911 model and value help

Hey guys I picked up this nice S&W 1911 but I'm having trouble narrowing down which model series it is. The Smith website doesn't show a two-tone with stainless on bottom and top. Any estimate of value would be appreciated. Thank you

Nice one. Interesting. No markings on the slide. What's on the other side? Is marked made in Springfield or Houlton? How does it shoot? Is it accurate?

I've noticed other postings about the blank slide guns.

I like the fact that this one is a correct two-tone with stainless frame and blued slide. I like those grips too.

I'd be interested to hear from others too.

Didn't think about that sorry, the other side is stamped with SW1911, the serial which I couldn't find any sort of lookup database for, and was made in Houlton, ME

I've seen a few of the E- series with the black slide. Does it have night sights? What is the first three letters of the serial number. Did you get the box?
