Default BodyGuard 380

Hello,
I just purchased my first gun. Its a S&W BodyGuard 380. The serial number consists of 3 letters, followed by 4- 0's.
This just seems odd to me. Can anyone tell me if this is even the right #. According to the manual, it is.
