Performance Center 945-1 .45
I just bought a 945-1 serial number CMFxxx that I see was made in 2000 according to the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson. I saw it at an auction yesterday and decided that I needed to buy it. It came with 2 7 round magazines. My question is: Where can I buy some additional 7 round magazines? A number of places offer 8 round magazines but I am looking for the 7 round. Any help is appreciated. I can post pictures if anyone is interested.

CDNN has them in stock. But you will have re-notch the catch.

You're most likely going to have to get them from S&W. The 945 7rd mag is unique to that pistol. The 8rd will work but hangs down, and regular 645/4500 mags can be notched to work but also hang down.

Here are 3 pictures I just took of my new, favorite pistol. I'm saying this even though I haven't shot it yet. It is such a fine looking gun and it feels great in my hand. This pistol makes me want to go out and find another Performance Center gun. Maybe I'll make myself wait, at least until I see another one locally.
Thanks for the advice on where to find magazines.

Update on where to get magazines. I ordered 3 magazines from Gunclip Depot at gunclips.net. Ordered on 3/3/15, shipped out on 3/4/15 and received on 3/9/15, going from CA to PA. Pretty good service I'd say. If you call Smith & Wesson, they also have them in stock and I'm waiting for them to be delivered. They said they don't list them on the website since they are for a non-production gun.
