Heads up on some LEO-Trade in 3914s!
$408.75 Shipped is a pretty good price these days. If you can get a ladysmith version would make it sweet!

I bought one as a project gun. If nothing else, I have a pretty good supply of spare parts for the 391x guns.

I bought a 3913 and a 3914 from these people and have been really pleased with them both. Neither was pristine and both were filthy, but both still have the accurate and dependable quality I was expecting. The 3914 has become my EDC. You can see they look kind of dirty here, but cleaned up nicely.

If I did not already have a 3914 lady smith I would have bought one myself! They look to be in good conditon. Dirty and in need of a good soak but overall pretty good!

Looks like this batch is sold. They sure did not last too long.
I am not sure if I am hoping to get a LS/NL frame or one of the regular frames. My current leather is all for the straight frame, but my very first 3913 was a 3913NL. i also have a spare set of 3913LS grips. Oh, first world problems ....

Actually, they were available for about a month and I was astonished that they didn't disappear after the 3913s from the same site were sold out. I certainly would like to know what PD they all came from.

I finally transferred the 3914 today. This one is a standard 3914, not a 3914 LS or 3914 NL. Like others noted, this sample was filthy. A fair amount of holster wear, but little evidence of firing. The levers in the frame were very tight and took effort to depress. Sixteen minutes in a vibratory cleaner filled with a solution of three parts of Purple Power to one part of de-ionized water followed by a good scrubbing and proper application of lube did wonders. The bore was full of something that looked more like leather shavings than carbon fouling.
The other interesting thing is that the sights are Novak three-dot, not tritium. I thought that was unusual for a LEO pistol.
My wife claimed it for her own before I could even take a picture.
