There are 6 pages of S&W 1911s for sale on GB , but I didn`t see any billboards. I was wondering how much folks are asking for them, so I`ll turn to the Experts here . What is the current value of one of those original Bill Board 1911s? Thanks, Jack

Wouldn't take $2000 for mine.

Mine was around $800, same price for my PD. They are both awesome guns. Identical in every way except for the markings, I prefer the way the PD looks, the billboard is a little obnoxious in my opinion.

I also like the more traditional slide serrations than the fish scales, I could have done without the forward slide serrations, but that is a minor pet peeve of mine.

If I were to find another scandium billboard or PD for under $700 I would buy it in a second. These are my favorite of the S&W 1911's.



They both have Wilson aluminum mainspring housings, silverblack altamonts, and GI style guide rods.
