Default Smith and Wesson Part Interchange.....

I picked up a Smith and Wesson 5906 and realized after the fact the extractor is chipped. I found a Model 59'extractor that looks exactly like my chipped one. Are they near identical? They certainly look the same. I already combed previous threads of the 3rd gen repair part woes ....I did find an aftermarket extractor from Jack Firsts for $40 though but thought I might check on an idea for a spare.
