Default sd9ve trigger

Hello all. I recently bought a lnib sd9ve at my local gander mountain, it was $272.00 out the door, the trigger was about 8# when I got it, amazingly after about 400 rounds of shooting In about 5 days time( I reload) the trigger is now an honest 5 1/2#. I was going to get the apex kit but now I may not, it also feels nice and smooth, I do clean and oil the gun after every range trip no matter the round count, just wondering if anyone else has dad the same experience.
